Flag Day 2019
As a little girl my elementary school always had an assembly for Flag Day. We would gather at the flag pole, recite the pledge, and sing. I still remember it well. Then our cook would bring out a fantastic sheet cake in the semblance of the flag.
I tried to recreate that a bit today with my own "small school". Who isn't delighted at cake during school hours? Even if the cake was hastily decorated. 🇺🇸🎂🇺🇸🎂🇺🇸🎂🇺🇸🎂🇺🇸🎂🇺🇸🎂🇺🇸
